Raintower can be used to deep water effeciently even in arid or desert areas because evaporation evaporation averages 15% of water applied. Raintower applies water in a uniform pattern, so you can deep water an entire area without over-watering or flooding at one end Raintower applies the water at a rate that is more easily absorbed by the soil without filling the air pockets necessary for healthy plant growth. (Note: flood irrigation saturates the soil, drives the air out and temporarily waterlogs the root zone which can inhibit growth.)
