Pulsator
For Cooling
In preliminary tests at the
Department of Viticulture and
Enology, University of California at Fresno, the
Pulsator cooled the vine canopy dramatically reducing the temperature about 20 degrees and held it during the hottest time of the day. You can improve your grape quality and yield by using the Pulsator for cooling
-
Eliminates
Grape Drop due to very high temperature
- Does not let photosynthesis
stop. Photosynthesis stops at 95
degrees so in effect the grape stops developing.
- Grape quality can be greatly improved by using the cooling effect of the Pulsator
- The low application rate of
only .12"
per hour in row eliminates over watering and watering between the
vines as occurs with sprinklers.
-
Adapts
to drip system hydraulics
and with small lateral line modification the drip system can
be turned off and the cooling system turned on.
- Also system can be used for
cooling at night to simulate cooler, coast like nighttime
temperatures.
- System can be used for frost
protection and artificial creation of early dormancy .Ideal
for distribution of fertilizer and other chemicals.
- Not recommended for use with
water with a saline content greater than 700ppm
